Sausage Sizzle

25th Birthday Celebration

The next sausage sizzle will be held on Wednesday 18 July from 11.30am to 2pm. This is also their 25th year of service to the community.

The funds raised this month will be donated to the Melbourne City Mission Homeless Appeal. For more information please contact the Church Office


Art Exhibition 

will be held again this year in conjunction with Open House Melbourne, on 28 & 29 July. Closing date for entries: Wednesday 18July, with entries to be delivered by Wednesday 25July. Details and entry forms available at wendy@scotschurch.com  or at the Church Office.

Paintings, sketches, textiles, ceramics, sculptures and photographs welcome!


PWMU 

(Thanksgiving month) Wednesday 8 Aug 10.30am Robert White Hall Speaker: Tom Ruijs from the ‘Lighthouse          Foundation’ will speak about their vision to end youth homelessness.  

 


Prayer Cards

Prayer cards are available in the pews. Please write any Prayer requests on one of these and either place it on the table in the Vestibule (an Elder will ensure a Minister gets them) or hand it directly to the office or one of our Ministers.

Open House Melbourne @ Scots' Church

The Scots' Church Melbourne is participating in the Annual Open House Melbourne weekend.  We welcome you to wander through our beautiful Church. Following your visit please come next door to the Assembly Hall Building (156 Collins St.),  where you can enjoy the beautiful building while consuming refreshments.  Opening times are Saturday July 28, 10am - 4pm and Sunday July 29, 2pm -4pm.

This year we will be showing videos of  the inner workings of the organ and a photo presentation of the inside of the spire.


Scots’ Church Craft Group

to support the work of the charity Project KIN.

All are welcome to join us to knit, crochet and sew as we enjoy fellowship together with a purpose. We will meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 10am-1pm.

Music Matinee  

On the first Tuesday of each month, the Music Matinee Group are holding a lunchtime concert at 1.00pm in the Church. The next concert is on the 7 August and features the Chamber Group from the Australian National Academy of Music.

All are welcome to this free event.
