Launched by Scots’ Church in 2023, ScotsCity is a fresh and growing church community in the heart of the city that wants to make you welcome. We meet on the ground floor of The Assembly Hall Building, right next to the historic Scots’ Church on Collins St.
If you’re a student or a CBD worker, you’ll find we’re geared towards your world. But the reality is, every Sunday you’ll find yourself connecting with encouraging people from all ages and stages of life.
Whether you’re just curious about Christianity, or already committed, we’ll work to help and encourage you in three key areas:
- learning the Bible
- loving Jesus
- living well
Our service style is “contemporary classic” – we stay connected with our liturgical traditions, but we’re relational, informal, and musically current, because we’re living life amidst all the challenges and charms of our 21st century city. Our bible teaching is clear and Christ-centred, and our theology draws on the riches of the Protestant Reformation.
We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is unique and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, is still working to restore all peoples and things to the wholeness God always intended.
